355mL bottle, pours black with a medium tan head. Aroma has some dark sugars, some cocoa, and toasted malt. Flavour has moderately sweet sugars, a touch of cocoa, maybe some coconut, and a touch of soy sauce. Pretty thin-bodied for the ABV—just not enough deep/complex malts here. It’s not bad but needs amping up.

355mL bottle. Pours black with a beige head. Molasses and a touch of iodine on the nose. Flavour has some bitter roast, dark molasses, a touch of iodine. Reasonably thick body. A bit harsh and haphazard.
