On tap at Doble Malta, pours a clear ruby red with a tiny head. Aroma has plenty of musty grape skins, seemingly fermented out honey, and some tannins. Flavour is moderately sweet, with plenty of honey—only a little fermented out—with nice grape character, light tannins, finishing moderately sweet. Odd to drink a 250mL pour of a 13% pyment, but it drinks surprisingly easily and yet retains reasonable depth. Nothing world-class but well-made.
