Available year-round.
The States were at war and one fateful day a troop of Union soldiers, occupying what is now Avondale Park, came across a posse of Confederate Home Guards. When shots were exchanged near the house of the town sheriff, a stray bullet struck his wife in the breast as she stood on the porch of her house. Luckily, she made a full recovery!

Tap. Pours clear pale amber, medium white head, nice lacing. Aroma is grain and pine. Flavor is the same, light sweet, light plus bitter. Light body

Poured up on tap at GABF 2012 with a clear pure gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma is pretty nice with earthy hops, hop spiciness and some grapefruit off in the background. The taste seems to be hop flavor forward with mango like tropical fruit and grapefruit and then it gets just a little more bitter to midway with growing citrus bitterness to tartness. But the hop flavor persists with a little bit of malt sweetness into the finish. Pretty solid IPA.
