Appearance: dark brown with some lighter copper hues along the sides and a two finger beige foamy head which dissipated very nicely to leave some light sticky lace
Aroma: deep earthy and dark bready tones, light cocoa powder and an ever so slight touch of sweet tree bark
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a sweet to toasty and subtle bitter earthy/bready character; finishes earthy and bready
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, very smooth along the tongue with the exact note of dryness at the end
Overall: best beer to date by this brewer! Absolutely love this simple drinking beer!
