7.8
Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 7.5 | Flavor - 7.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 8

Poured from an undated can into a nonic pint glass

Pours deep mahogany brown to black with about a finger of foamy light tan head which disapates rather quickly leaving a touch of light lacing

Aroma of coffee, slight caramel and cocoa. Some light graininess as well.

Taste is similar caramel black coffee, dark bread, with chocolate and slight graininess finishing out

Leans toward a light body, carbonation is medium low, a very smooth very sessionable porter.

Overall I could drink a few of these, light enough to keep drinking but so flavorful. Big things can come in a small package.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to English pint glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a finger's worth of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cararmel/toffee malts, light biscuit and a little bit of dark bread
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a bitter to roasty to semi-sweet quality; finishes dark chocolatey and roasty
Texture: light to medium bodied - maybe a touch closer to light, sessionable, pretty smooth along the tongue
Overall: nicely done porter I'd be willing to come back to.
