We are all familiar with Barley Wine, Wheat Wine and Oat Wine. The brewers wanted to brew a Rye Wine. This passion play has taken many long days to bring to you, and we are glad we did. Aged in a Bourbon barrel for sweet balance. Pleasing earthy notes of banana, pear, green mango, spice, vanilla, and distillate. Full body as one would expect from high rye usage.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a near clear amber with a slight gold hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice rye and bourbon combination with a touch of caramel and sweet grains underlying. Flavor has has a nice rye and sweet grain combination with a bit of light fruits and bourbon supporting.
