Reviewed from notes.
Can to tulip.
Appearance: black in color with a finger and a half's worth of eggshell white foamy head which slid off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: deep black coffee - very roasty, toasty a touch of sweet with dark chocolate and milk chocolate, subtle caramel/toffee malts deeper down in there
Flavor: wraps up the prior noted aromas to roasty to sweet blend; finishes roasty and sweet through the coffee
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, some smoothness and a light dryness on the tongue
Overall: a very energetic coffee forward impy stout that I would welcome again.
