From a pounder can Troy bought for me, he's one of my really cool in-laws! This appears quite dark amber brown with a big fat yellowish head that stays for a long while and goes craggy. The pour is really energetic with is foamy activity creating a head just like a ntiro, quite a show! Aroma is, nearly alarming, mild sweetness perfume. First taste is a little cloying and sort of slaggy. Yea, has this odd farmy sweetness that is quite unique for this style. I'll call it farmy but it is certainly different in its own way. Yea, and there is an odd bitterness that begins to build against the sweetness. Rich? I'm not sure I'd call it that, but its there and combined with the near cloy, its just a tad irksome. Finishing this stuff off, I'd say it is quite a man's beer and, at nearly 6.5%, it give you the feeling yer looking for. Whew, in the end I'm almost vertiginous dazed pre-confused muddled and befuddled. There you have it! Big thanks bro!
