An all-malt beer that is blonde in color, light on the palate and true to the Kölsch style. Kölsch beer has been brewed in Germany for hundreds of years. It is a clear beer with a bright yellow hue and it has a prominent, but not extreme, hoppiness

on tap-pours a thin white head and gold color. Aroma is grain, slight herbal. Taste is light malt/grain, secondary herbal/spice hops. OK, after drinking I read the description. Good Kolsch, thats a bit more malty than standard.

Bottle from Beer_Hawk; Thanks! Nose of sweet malt with a little citrus; crtstal clear gold with a small yellowish head; flavor is sweet, grainy, with lemons, and some hop bitterness which lasts to the finish.

(On tap) Pale golden with a white head. Malty nose with an edge of fresh hops. Light body with soft and slightly sweet malt before a very dry hopping sets in. Very clean and refreshing. 300306

Clear deep yellow body under a small, frothy, white head. Faint aroma of lemons and hay. The flavor starts slightly sweet and ends with an acidic spritz. Light body, a bit drier and hoppier than a Belgian Wit. But I’m far from an expert of what to look for in a good Kolsch so I might not be fair with this one.

From a sampler: Pours a clear gold color with a thin white head. Barely-there hops aroma. Mild and smooth, like most beers of the style. Not particularly impressive, as the hops flavor is elusive. Finish is a little watery.
