Appearance: black in the pour and black in the glass with a finger and a half's worth of khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: milk chocolate tones, black coffee roast; sweet oats and some dark chocolate notes
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet to roasty quality underscored by a light bitterness; finishes chocolatey sweet and smooth
Texture: medium bodied; sessionable; great smoothness along the tongue with nothing distracting; good carb level
Overall: a nicely done oatmeal stout well worthy of coming back to.

Taster pour from a can at Saratoga beer Summit. Opaque black, ring of head, light lacing. Aroma, strong, roasted malt.Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth frothy, silky texture,, soft carbonation finish his taste. Good straightforward stout.
