A delicious brown ale with a deep chestnut color. Low hop rate and light carbonation make this brew a smooth and creamy number with a rich, malty-sweet finish. Look closely for the touch of roastiness in the background.

Bottle. Light brown color with no head. Aroma is really weak with a very light nutty smell. Taste is surprisingly sweet with a roasted nut taste.

5oz on tap at Smoky Mountain in Gatlinburg. Poured a dark brown, cola color. Aroma had some very mild notes of chestnut, toasted malts. Maybe some light nutmeg notes? Certainly not actually that, but something kicked off my tastebuds to that. Okay.

Keg at Smoky Mountain Turkey Creek, 16/02/15. Amber topped with a moderate off white swirl, Nose carries sweet tunes, caramel, candied nuts. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, sweet licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so generic brewpub brown ... yawn.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of SpringsLicker. Pours a clear amber with a small off-white head. A little nuts and honey in the nose - with a slight indication of what to come! Medium body, subtle roast and then a MASSIVE lactic infection, extremely sour in an extremely unpleasant way - jeez! Horrible - at least as is in this bottle. 250313
