For only the second time, we have our release of Crusher, a beer rooted in a collaboration which starts as a Saison malt bill we wrote together years ago with Troy. We then take this beer and barrel ferment it with cultures from both Side Project and Casey and then finish it on local fruit. For this release of Crusher, it was finished on Norton Wine Grapes from Noboleis Vineyards in the Augusta AVA from the 2019 harvest. We let this beer go through an extended aging and then almost 4 months in the bottle before we feel it is ready to share with you.

This beer is a clear dark maroon-purple color with a thin pinkish-white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Sparse strings of lace. Oaky, vinous aroma with yeast and malt notes. Medium body with flavors of vinous oak, funky yeast, berry and doughy malt. The finish is tart and oaky with a raspberry and yeast aftertaste. Good beer all around.
