Citra hops have been in high demand for over a decade now and for good reason. Citra hops exhibit flavors of intense grapefruit, lime and tropical fruits which goes really well with countless other hops, while also making excellent single-hop beers. Citra Death Ray utilizes standard Citra pellets in the boil, liquid hop extract and Co2 extracted Cryo hops in the whirlpool, and is finished with 2 rounds of dry-hopping with new high-density Lupomax concentrated pellets. We built Citra Death Ray to have all of the ingredients and hop treatments of our New England style IPAs but with a cleaner body and finish in order to let the Citra hops be the star of the show.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: bright orange haziness with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: big sweet bright citrusy to grassy hop scents with a great clean malt bill
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a great citrusy clean bittersweetness; finishes citrusy clean and a tickle of orange pulp
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness, nice low carb
Overall: a nicely done NEIPA worthy of coming back to.
