On tap at Tipsy Cow. Pours a clear bright red with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of oak with earthy berries with a bit of tartness underlying. Flavor is full of tart berries with a bit of oak supporting and a hint of dryness.

22oz bottle shared by Iphonephan at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Pooured a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma had light sour cherry notes, strawberries. Flavor was light tartness, some residual notes that remind me of sweet tarts.

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 8/5/2014. Pours fairly crystal clear reddish copper color with a 1 finger fairly dense light pink head with solid retention that reduces to a thin lacing cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings around the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas if big sour green apple, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, lime, hay, straw, grass, white wine, vinegar, wheat, oak, musty funk, light leather, herbal/yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, berries, oak, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big sour green apple, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, lime, hay, straw, grass, white wine, vinegar, oak, wheat, musty funk, light leather, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of fruity/earthy sourness on the finish; with lingering notes of green apple, blueberry, blackberry, lemon, lime, hay, straw, grass, white wine, vinegar, oak, wheat, musty funk, light leather, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a while. Damn nice complexity and robustness of fruity/acidic yeast, berries, oak, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/sourness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth crisp, acidic, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited Berliner weisse style. All around great balance and complexity of fruity/acidic yeast, berries, oak, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink with good acidity balance. A very enjoyable offering.
