Sample at Derive during the "Derive Turns Five: 5th Anniversary Celebration" on 09/13/2025. Dark brown pour with a medium thin frothy khaki head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Sparse strings of lace. Roast malt, coffee and hops in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of roasted malt, bittersweet coffee and mild fruity hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
