Our take on the seasonal German classic, Doppelbock, was lagered for 5 weeks. This unfiltered lager pours with a rich copper hue and has tasting notes of dried figs, toffee & early Spring fire pits.

Can to tall tulip.
Appearance: dark amber color in the glass with a two and a half fingers of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet toasted nuts, dark fruits, dark bread, very big caramel notes, light earthy hops
Flavor: matches the aromas fairly sweet and earthy; finishes earthy, toasty and caramelly
Texture: medium bodied, between sessionable and being a sipper; extremely smooth along the tongue with an ever so slight dry trace to the tongue
Overall: I say a nicely done Doppelbock well worthy of returning to.
