0.375 l bottle from 'Het Biermoment', best before January 2018. Hazy, golden amber with a massive, frothy, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, very fruity, floral and slightly grassy aroma of mango, orange, passion fruit and some peach. Slightly sweetish, moderately bitter, rather fruity, moderately grassy and slightly floral taste of passion fruit, orange, some mango and a touch of peach, followed by a medium long, rather dry-bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Very refreshing, lovely fruity nose, quite dry for that abv. Pretty good!

Hazy golden colour, moderate sized dense off-white head; aroma of orange zest, pine notes, caramel and slight boiled vegetable notes; bittersweet taste with overripe mango and pineapple, caramel, orange zest bitterness and syrupy notes; great one!

Bottle @ home. Murky yellow color with a large head. Smells hops and sweet. Tastes hops, bitter, sweet. Lacks some fruityness. Medium to full body, soft to medium carbo.

Bottle at home. Murky tea with white head. Sweet malts, sharp hops, massive grassiness, juicy citrus and caramel. Moderate sweet, strong bitter, nearly spicy. In fact light spicy. Medium body, soft carbonation. Juicy feel. Nice haze craze addition but too vegetal and bitter and the color is offputting Mouthfeel like the recent Omnipollo/Siren Milkshake IPAs. What I love about this Imperial IPA is that it’s not a sweet sugarbomb.

Hazy orange-amber pour with a coarse-grained off-whtie head. Notes of caramelized oranges, mandarin oranges, pine resin, citrus, grapedfruit. The profile of an old-school double IPA, malty and hoppy and a decent balance between the two.

(375ml bottle from Just In Beer, Groningen, BB 01/18) Pours a murky brownish orange with a piling eggshell head that fades slowly with lots of lace. Aroma is sweet and fruity with notes of candied orange, stewed pale pit fruit, tropical, quite floral, a bit grassy, some caramel malt backing. Flavour is pretty hoppy but with a malt backbone that lends moderate sweetness, orange peel and pith, herbal, sweet berries, grass, leafy, a touch spicy, but also an unnecessary amount of yeast, especially in the back. Light oxidation as well. Moderate bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light alcohol heat. It’s okay, but the yeastiness and maltiness undermines the big hop charge a bit.

Pours unclear blonde, good white head. Smell is bit yeasty, sharp bitterness, fruity hops. Taste is full, fruity, bitter, rather intense. Very overcarbonated. Bit yeasty. Why do people keep refermenting IPA’s? How counterproductive can you get.... Not bad at all, but not as great as what you’d expect for this kind of money.
