Can to tulip.
Appearance: woody orange color with a quickly dissipating white foamy head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: blackberry tart and sweet, light oak barrel sweetness, tart floral/semi-sour character, Grains of Paradise add a little bit of a peppery note
Flavor: meshes the previously noted aromas to a fine sweet to tart to slightly spicy and sour quality; finishes somewhat like a jolly rancher (is there blackberry flavored jolly ranchers? To be honest, I truly don't know)
Texture: medium bodied, leaning to be a sipper; I dig the smoothness as it's quaint and the sour-ness is tame
Overall: big wow from me! This would be a great beer to have on a back deck in early Spring. Man, what a nice beer!
