Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in color with a finger and a half's worth of eggshell white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet to roasty blends of earthy coffee varieties with a delicate cocoa powder and/or baker's chocolate to accompany the overall aroma, delicate sweet wafer-like malts
Flavor: very nice blend of the prior noted aromas to a fair sweet to slightly earthy roasty quality; finishes with the coffee varieties and delicate malty sweetness
Texture: about medium bodied - maybe a touch under, sessionable, good smoothness - nothing gritty - just good
Overall: lovely coffee porter worthy of coming back to.
