Reviewed from notes.
Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a slim cap of a khaki foamy head which slipped off nicely but didn't leave any lace
Aroma: thick chocolatey/fudgy tones, some vanilla sweetness, light maple tones and a balancing cinnamon spice
Flavor: balances the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet variety of sweets and underscored by that cinnamon spice; finishes leaning into the sweet tones
Texture: medium bodied, good sipper; smooth with appropriate spicy edge to balance
Overall: a very nicely done pastry impy stout with all said ingredients.
