Kölsch is a beer style indigenous to the city of Köln in Germany. It is brewed using an ale yeast strain and aged like a lager beer. They are pale, golden, slightly fruity, and beautifully clear with a crisp finish. Technically only beers brewed in Köln can be called Kölsch, so we’ll call this authentic copy a tribute.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to stange.
Appearance: semi-clear golden yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: light notes of citrusy, floral and semi-earthy hops, clean malts
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fine sweet quality with a very low hop bitterness; finishes bready malty with a low key citrusy hop vibe
Texture: light bodied, sessionable, good smoothness along the tongue
Overall: nice enough Kolsch I could possibly have again.
