Canned from gct. Dark pour. Mild head. Some maltiness and mild floral notes. Decent...

Meh. It's a strong flavor but it doesn't last long, nor is that strong flavor any good. Meh.

Can. Aroma is Schwarz like, light spice, soy sauce, bit fruity. Taste is nice enough, roasty, little bit of sweetness, some treacle there too. Feels smooth but also quite dry. Cola. Nice enough, but not quite sure about it.

Dark brown, thin head. Nice choc, touch of lightness, still a mellow tartness on the finish.

Draught at Darby’s Gastown, Vancouver
Dark, near black. Dry, lean, weak, with some roasted malt, some liquorice (it doesn’t fit at all in a weak beer), some cardboard.
Purposeless.

Sampled from tap at FDDB 2017. Clear, dark brown to black with a medium large, frothy, quickly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, nuts and caramel. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty taste of caramel, dark chocolate, coffee and some licorice, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly dry finish with some blackcurrant. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Nice!

It’s not bad but it’s really not a schwarzbier which is first of all a lager. Aroma was mostly roasty toasty malt. Flavor was like nose was quite jockey and bitter and astringent. Okay for drinking but nothing special.

Fat på Bishop Gustav Malmö. Smak och doft av blåbär, björnbär, humle, karamell med toner av rök och choklad. Urvattnad, obestämbar, viss syrlighet och sötma. Märklig!

Can. Chocolate malt, hay, and light ash aroma. Dark black-brown with giant tan head. Lightly sweet chocolate malt and lightly bitter herbal grass flavor. Coffee aftertaste. Light body.
