Buttery toast, grape nose, leathery accents. Dark purple. Black currant and grape. Prune finish. Honey on the edges, but not prominent. Full body, smooth, light tannins. A little jammy.

Bottle shared by BeerandBlues2 at DC Pre-Thanksgiving tasting. Thanks! Poured an uncarbonated, clear purple color. Aroma was some light sweet honey notes, elderberries aren’t my specialty, so I assume what I’m tasting is elderberry. Some light vanilla notes, honey.
