Yuengling® is proud to offer our Oktoberfest as an homage to our German Heritage. A true representation of the style, Oktoberfest is a blend of Tettnang and Hallertau hops. Copper in color, this medium-bodied beer is the perfect blend of roasted malts with just the right amount of hops that serves up a slightly-sweet, toasted character and mild herbal bitterness.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. Off-white soapy head recedes leaving gloppy lacing. Butterscotch and caramel aromas. Astringent with sweet caramel front to back. Mild fest finish.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a red-orange-tan color with a large foamy-soapy tan head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet, tangy, corny and malty with a hint of toffee and faint sour fruits. The flavor was tangy and sour with a bit of bread, honey, toffee and sour fruits. Medium length tangy, sour and fruity finish. Medium body. Uninspiring.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of BlackIPA (I think). Thanks. Pours a touch hazy, dark burnt orange appearance with a thin khaki head. A bit metallic, strong caramel malty, grassy, artificial aroma. Somewhat spicy, vanilla, rich caramel, toasted malty, corny, lightly fruity flavor. Jesus, this just tastes like Coors Banquet Oktoberfest with every corn note and metallic note offered. Fuck you.

12 ounce bottle thanks to Cheap. Pours a clear ruby color with a medium white head. A light malty nose, some skunkiness. Light fruity malts, some bitter skunkyness, metallic. Tastes a lot like Yuengling! Haha. Fond memories.
