Virginia Common is a throwback to one of Ardent’s earliest recipes! First developed on a home-brew system in the original Church Hill garage, then adapted for the Scott’s Addition opening in 2014, and now tweaked for a re-introduction in 2021.
Inspired by early steam beers, Virginia Common is brewed with American Cluster hops, which impart a spicy, earthy quality to this beer. Pouring a gorgeous amber color with medium body, Virginia Common balances toasty, caramel notes with a moderate hoppy bitterness and classically clean finish.

Taster at Ardent. Light amber pour, patchy head. Aroma and taste are toasty malts, sweet. Pretty full bodied, right on target for this uncommon style
