Pour is a black with a small tan head. Aroma is a minor roasted malt and maybe some licorice. Flavor is again a very minor roast with a touch of chocolate and coffee. All things are very weak and watery though. Smooth and easy to drink but much too bland.

tap - Pours very dark brown with a small tan head. It has a roasted malt aroma with chocolate notes. The flavor is of dark roasted malt and not much else. It’s very bubbly, medium bodied, and overall fairly good which I suppose is better than expected.

Bottle. Better than I expected from Coors. Black pour with thick beige head. Light aroma, cocoa, coffee. Flavour isn’t malty enough, but still not bad with the chocolate and coffee. All over the tongue flavour with a good malty finish.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a slight tan head. Aroma of smooth burnt malt. Med body. Flavor is smooth burnt malt with some possible coffee hints. Not getting chocolate. It is certainly dry, but not all that bitter. Fairly tasty critter. Finally getting a little chocolate.

12 ounce bottle from Kroger - Hydraulic - Charlottesville. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a large foamy brown head. Good head retention. You gotta love a wave of skunk upon opening a brown bottle. Aroma of skunk, caramel, grain, mild chocolate. The taste is chocolate, grain, hoppy finish. Thin bodied.

Bottle. Lactic chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown color with minimal head. Lightly ashy sweet dark chocolate malt and lightly bitter herbal hops flavor. Light but not bad.
