On tap at the brewery. Pours a near black with an earthy brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a bit of coffee and bitter chocolate but is mainly dark grains and bread. Flavor is full of bitter chocolate with a backbone of earthy dark grains.

Draft at Brewvival 2012. Pours a very dark brown color with a thin brown head that quickly fades. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate and vanilla. The taste is roasted malts, chocolate, vanilla, bitter hops that linger. Medium-full bodied. Nice beer.
