We got together with our good friends Harcourt - a Hong Kong inspired pub with authentic Hong Kong cuisine and local UK craft beer based in nearby Altrincham - to brew Keep Calm and Race On, a kalamansi pale ale brewed just for Lunar New Year! 🍊🍻

Keg at Cloudwater Enid Street last Wednesday. Hazy pale orange. Frothy foamy white head retreats. Aroma has citrus and a vinous element. Light-medium bitter with a sour edge. Light-medium bodied. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is semi tangy, prickly fruit, pineapple, guava, yuzu.. Flavour is composed powdery wheat, chalk, grassy citrus, mixed citrus fruit, lemon, guava, pithy citrus, chalky finish. Palate is super crisp, chalky, moderate carbonation. Pretty good.

Pours murky gold with a thin white cap that fades. Aroma is lychee, orange, toasted malt, yuzu, grain. Quite a grainy malty finish with some lychee and Yuzu sharpness. A little odd but OK
