Bottle from Gambrinus around 2 years old I assume. Pours a light copper to deep gold with a finger of foam that dissipates quickly. Clear but faint bing cherry nose with some light oak and gooseberry as it warms. Good carbonation with almond, cherry skin bitterness and a nice lemon-cherry tartness throughout. Lingering cherry skin and stone with woody cherry juice. Very nice.

Tap at Maxs. Cherry orange-pink-red body. Lots of natural cherry flavor, from sour to maraschino. Sour tones in that leathery, approaching acetone way. A little too in line with unruly US sours for me. Nice cherry pit tones.

Bottle. Pours a hazy ruby with small off white head that lasts. The aroma is strong cherry skin, oak, funk. Thin body, sweet cherry, oak, light tartness, good.

500mL bottle, pours a clear copper / amber with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out notes of subtly tart cherries, some wheaty notes and a touch of funk. Flavour is odd, with sour cherries, almost like cough syrup, a touch of funk, and moderate sweetness. This ends up tasting too much like a funky, cherry cough syrup. Cloyingly sweet. Not a fan of this at all.

This beer pours a slightly hazy pinkish-gold color with a medium foamy bright white head that diminishes steadily to a dense film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of mildly funky cherries and yeast. Medium body with flavors of semi-tart cherries, wheat and herbal yeast. The finish is mildly tart with a funky cherry aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle: Poured a light reddish color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of tart cherry notes with light oak notes is quite nice. Taste is also dominated by tart cherry notes with some light acidity noticeable. Body is average with good carbonation. Love the fact that this beer was very easy to drink while presenting a good level of complexity.

Bottle. Funky barnyard malt and light cherry aroma. Golden yellow with small head. Light cherry sweetness up front followed by a strong acetic barnyard. Nice body. Very pleasant mixture of flavors.

Limited notes recorded for this one, mostly just a score, but I thought this was another nice beer from Prairie. Happy to have tried.
