Growler. Pours a dark brown with medium tan head that lasts. The aroma is strong roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Medium mouth, chocolate, brownie, nice booze, lingering bitter roast finish, very good.

Location: Draft at Hay Merchant, 12/3/13
Aroma: The nose is roasted malts, some coffee, chocolate, plenty of booze, and licorice
Appearance: This one pours a dark brown-black color with a foamy light brown head
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, malt forward, roasted and a little boozy
Palate: The body leans full, with a pretty solid mouthfeel, and a lighter dryness on the finish
Overall Impression: I thought this was a decent, but not amazing example of the style. Good effort for sure. In general, I enjoy beers from (512), this is no exception.
