With clear notes of espresso, dark chocolate and a hint of authentic Icelandic coffee, this Porter is dark and rich, offering a medium body that is robust, yet smooth on the palate and easy to drink. There’s no need to be afraid of the dark anymore.

Pours near black with a small tan head. The aroma is of dark roast malt and chocolate. The flavor is sweet chocolate, roast malt, and a little coffee. Medium bodied, it's a good porter.

Bottle from a coffee shop. Darkest brown with a quite good tan brown head. Light roasted malty nose. Great mild toasted malt flavor, moderately bitter, subtle sweetness butt overall dry. Nice one.

330ml bottle and my first beer from Iceland. Black, tan head, decent retention and lacing. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee but softened by a big hit of milk chocolate. Taste follows aroma, with roasty and coffee bitter elements balanced by semi-sweet milk chocolate. Very moreish. Decent body and soft carbonation. Very enjoyable porter.

Historical tick bought at Our Dark Heart, Camden. Far better than their pale beer. Decent almost smokey stuff.
