Clear, very bright orange amber color with a small white head; aroma of toffee, somewhat smooth palate; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter finish

Snifter at Bittercreek. Mahogany pour, barely there ring of head. Aroma is pumpkin, and then booze and barrels. Taste brings some sweetness, pumpkin, fall flavors, heavy barrel influence. Dry, bone dry. Nice for the season. 2014 vintage.

Draft 10 oz pour at Elysian on Capital Hill. They have a ton pf the pumpkin beers still on tap, because they are "trying to get ride of them." I’ll happily help this cause. Pours a bright bronze color with a thin patchy head. Is there such thing as bright bronze? This isn’t the most obvious beer when it comes to pumpkin. If I didn’t know better I probably would have thought it didn’t have it. Maybe a little bit. Definitely spice. Malty forward aroma. Huge graham cracker, cookie like flavor. Soft vanilla and spice finish. A little apple too. Very nice beer here.

Draft at Scion, shared by Gene, thanks! Poured a ruby amber color with a small white wispy head. Aroma was light spice, boozy malt notes. Flavor was light pumpkin pie. Alcohol is there, but isn’t "hot" which was nice.

Some clove and boiled down malt here. Manages to pull off hybrid aroma, sitting in the middle of both styles. But still not wonderful either way. Finishes a little sweet. Pours maroon with OK head and lacing. Thanks to Travlr for a taste of this at Scion, draft.

Draftt at Scion. Hazy deep amber brown color, bright white edge head. Aroma of vanilla and subtle spice. Taste is rich lightly spiced butterscotch. A big beer.

Sample at Denver Rare Beer Tasting VI on 10/03/2014. Pours a slightly cloudy dark orange color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily. Partial rings of lace. Aroma of malt, caramel and pumpkin spice. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, pumpkin pie and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a pumpkin and caramel aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at The Copper Hog, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin spices and toffee / caramel malts. Flavour blends the best of both worlds, with notes of pumpkin spicing, toffee and caramel malts. There is a noticeable booziness on the finish, leaving notes of a sort of pumpkin liqueur. Certainly unique and enjoyable in small doses.
