This medium-bodied golden ale is brewed with local wildflower honey. Full-flavored beer. Rich. Robust. Bittersweet beginning. Quickly mellows, leaving the palate with a subtle hint of honey. Hive pairs well with cedar-plank salmon, and, if you have a sweet tooth, baklava.

Tap at Eastburn PDX, 25/05/13. Very lightly hazed golden amber with a thin off white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, honey, light spice, grass. Taste comprises light hops, sugars, grass, pale malts, subtle honey tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, refreshing finish. Drinkable low ABV fayre.

Pours deep gold into a Sam glass. White head with medium retention recedes leaving spot lacing to skim surface. Sweet summer fruit and honey aromas. Crisp with butterscotch, sour fruit and honey upfront turning to earthy bitterness in the medium length finish.

Bottle. Poured golden honey yellow with thin white head. Aroma is malt and a light hop. Not sweet, but rather unsweet, almost bitter. Light hop in the finish with a tiny bit of honey

Pours a perfect clear copper with off white head. The mild aroma has malt graininess as well as faint earthy notes and vague sweetness. The taste pulses a bit with lively carbonation forcing up notes of floral hops, a modest honey like sensation and some malt graininess. OK session beer that leans a bit to the sweet side.

Bottle from Malt & Vine. Pours light copper amber with a slight white head. It smells sweet. Certainly mild caramel, and indeed there seems to be honey.Near medium body. It’s light roast malt, thereseems to be some hop, but the finish is almost sticky with honey. Ok, overstatement, but there’s definitely honey. Certainly different.
