On tap at the brewery pours out amber topped with a sand head. Nose is pine citrus hops and some bread malts. Taste is more of the nice pine citrus hops and a little toast malt.

Sample during the ElkMoose Me, But Why Is Your Glass MT? event on 07/10/2020. Clear dark golden color with a medium bone white IPA that diminishes gradually to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of earthy hops, caramel malt and fruit. The finish is moderately bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Can from MarCellars. Hazy, dark amber, nice rocky, fluffy head. Big malty aroma, toasty. More caramel malts in the taste, rich malty flavors, topped off with a mild bitter bite. Thick and chewy. Much better than the score refects.

Aroma from the can is great citrus, flavor is similar but with a very pale and crystal malt-forward aspect. Well-balanced and a great brew to drink when you just want a good unpretentious beer. Damn I’m glad someone handed me this just as I was corralling two screaming kids through the hotel, made dinner time a lot easier once things calmed down.

22oz bomber pours clear copper with deep gold edges and semi tight light tan head. The aroma offers up tart grapefruit notes along with sort of earthy stale malts as well as a bit of sweet malty biscuit maltiness. The taste has a mix of tart grapefruit and almost a lime like sense blending with sweet malts, a touch of caramel malts and a slight, yet pleasing, buttery note. The sweetness and faint sense of butter balance the bitter and tart hoppiness. Pretty easy drinking IPA.

Bomber from Brewforia. Pours light copper with a foamy/frothy 4 finger near-white head. Through the head the aroma is principally floral. Med body at least. Frothy carb. Flavor is light roast malt - very light roast - under a lot of hop. Mostly floral - tho it’s not perfumey. There’s a good amount of some kind of non-citric fruit. I’m thinking they used one of those new-fangled hops. Whatever, it is certainly not the harsh NW style, but it is very hoppy and I’m sure our cousins over the pond would be amazed and delighted.

Bottled, from Bozeman, MT. Clear pale amber, mid-sized head. Citric grapefruity nose. Medium bodied with crisp mouthfeel. Mid-intensity grapefruity hops covers the caramelly malt well. Powerful bitter finish.
