Flasche bei Marktkauf in Meppen. Wohl klares dunkles Bernstein, wenig beiger Schaum. Geschmack: Moderat Malzig (geröstet), Karamell. Aroma: Moderate Süße. Karamell, Hopfen, Schokolade. Mittlere Bitterkeit.

500ml Bottle - Dark brown with orange tinges. Chocolate, raisins and berries in the aroma. Chocolate, dried fruit, nuts and some faintly smoky notes can be detected in the taste. Quite nice but not as good as the unfiltered version.

Boltens Alt, Fläschchen von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Dunkles Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase warmes toastiges Malz, deutlich Altbier-artig, leicht grelle obergärige Note, frische zitronig-krautige Herbe, leicht metallisch. - Antrunk warm toastmalzig-nussig mit Brotkruste, milder aber frischer zitroniger Note und runder herbaler Hopfung. Angenehme Malzsüße. Milder rezent, weich. Im Abgang zitronig-krautige Herbe, leicht blechern. - Frisch aromatisches, vielleicht ein wenig simples bzw. ruppiges aber doch angenehmes Altbier. Firm head. Nutty aroma with some hops shimmering through. Malty and slightly metallic flavor. Some bitterness present. Sweeyish with some butterscotch. Not too bad for an industrial alt.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles' place. Thanks troubles. Clear amber-brown. Malt, caramel, some vegetables, a bit of minerals, sweetish, toasty notes, bitterish finish.
