Barley, maize grits, fine hops and water are the ingrediënts for the lager wort. This wort, Bockor-specific, gets semened with an typical brewery low yeast.
After the yeast period of approximately ten days, where the typical flavour package of our lager is determined, the young beer is cooled down to 0°C and gets it through a maturization of 3 weeks.
By a double filtration, Bockor gets its golden color and its clearness.
Bockor has a nice foam head when the beer is poured professionally in a clean, degreased glass. The smell has a nice touch of hops and a subtle bitterness.

Draft glass @ Quinten Matsijs. Clear very sparkling golden, collapsing industrial head. Nose is sharp pale lager, vegetables, less cooked very sharp green, interesting with a big mineral profile, served quite cold. Higher carbonation, very clean sharp, cold bodied, very drinkable. Taste is very mineral in an itneresting way, clear metallic, grain, sharp green vegetables, more mineral than your average pale lager, low grain, vegetables almost don’t bother. Sharp taste & interesting metallic profile, probably the best pale lager that I have had so far. I get the love for this beer.
