Initially brewed in Spring 2017—then rested in wine barrels for over a year—its pilgrimage from brewday to sharing has mirrored many of our other 2017 offerings, that of an extended and dramatic journey. Following more than six years of coalescence in its bottle, this has achieved spectacularly, moving us to wax this instance of her namesake beer (a first!). Its features echo both early Clover vintages and the 2013 iteration of Flora herself (specifically, the much-lauded “batch 5”).
