Purchased at Charleston Beer Exchange in Charleston, SC; enjoyed while hanging out in my hotel room, listening to the ocean, watching the Celtics vs. Heat game while staying in Myrtle Beach, SC. Being a fan of the band, I just couldn’t pass this one up. Appearance is a cloudy dark gold with a thin, choppy white head. Aroma of German lager yeast, as well as bready malts, states unfiltered on the bottle and it smells like it. Taste is pretty good, yeast comes out as the prominent ingredient, sweetness from the malt, standard premium lager flavor. If I found this again I’d probably gift it to a metal head friend.

Bottle. Hay and barley malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow color with giant off-white head. Slightly sweet barley malt and moderately bitter grass/hay hops flavor. Nice body. Very good plus in good shape - tastes pretty fresh.

Bottle @ home. A touch hazy, dark golden appearance with an off white head. Rich pale grainy, big grassy, floral, noble hoppy aroma. Sweet, grassy, grainy, sweet floral, organic, noble hoppy flavor. Decent but pretty boring.

I’m sure this has gone back into production since I paid $5.09 @ Julio’s Liquors for a 16.9 oz. bottle. Transparent yellow in color with steady carbonation, white head and nearly no lace. Looks like every other lager on the planet. Smell is grassy and a touch of hay. Flavor is corn, bready malt and a mild sourness in the backend. Also has a nice bitterness as it gets room temperature. Medium in body and over all for a lager, it’s real good.

Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head with medium retention recedes to hug rim. Sour earthy corn aromas. Soft with sweet bready hay and caramel pfront turning bitter in the lasting toast finish.

Bottle from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Pours orange tinged gold with a foamy/creamy white head. Aroma is fairly bready with some noble hop notes. More spicy than grassy. Med body. Flavor matches the aroma. A much better than average premium lager.
