Sampled on draft this beer poured a black color with a medium sized creamy beige head that left excellent lacing. The aroma was dryish with a bit of smoke and vanilla. The flavor was dryish and a bit roasty with vanilla cream and a bit of smoke. Medium lenght finish. Medium body and fairly smooth.

Draft at the source. Hazy deep purple maroon color, tan head. Aroma of deep roast, subtle cherries. Taste is sweet roasty cherries dipped in coffee.

3-4 ounce taster at Jailbreak poured into a tasting glass. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of dark fruit, cherries, chocolate. Tasting notes of dark fruit, cherries, roast, dark chocolate. Medium body with a dry finish. Medium carbonation, slick mouthfeel.
