Growler courtesy of weihenweizen. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color with a thin tan head. Fair head retention. Aroma of chocolate, roast, nuts. The taste is roasted malts, oats, bitter chocolate, mild hops. Thin bodied, low carbonation, mild lingering bitterness.

Great breakfast aroma. Oats, light honey. Black pour with good head and lacing. Finishes sweeter than many oatmeal stouts. Average carbonation. Growler thanks to Travlr. Some coffee.

On tap at Black Sheep poured into a glass. Pours opaque black with big light brown head. Aroma is wonderful roast, medium body, medium carbonation, creamy texture, and thick big bubble lacing. Taste is roasted malt, roasty, some oats, some herbal hops, and chocolate. My favorite WV oatmeal stout and I would like to have this side by side with Sam Smiths oatmeal stout to really know which I prefer.
