On tap at Electric Bicycle, pours a dark amber-tinged brown with a tiny tan head. Aroma has gentle toasted malt, a hint of cocoa powder, and some earthiness. Flavour is lifeless, with toasted malt, dusty dry cocoa powder, and some gritty earthiness. Not remotely convincing as a stout—maybe a session porter at best, but even that’s pushing it. Very lame.
