Der Hallertauer Hopfen „Tradition“ verleiht unserem Urbräu Hell die feine Bittere, während ausgewählte helle Malze für ein brillantes Farbenspiel im Glas und den vollmundigen Charakter mit süffig-milder, leicht süßlicher Note sorgen.

500 ml can. Bright, brassy gold pour. Large frothy beige head. Grainy malt aroma. Herbal notes. Crisp, malty flavor. Highly carbonated. Minerally, grassy flavor upfront. Subtle honey and citrus notes. Zesty finish.

Can drunk 9/24/22. Clear deep bronze-golden. Small, white head. White grape, light mineral. Dry pepper. Soft, sparse malts. No flaw. Soft, reasonably malty. The obvious filtration and force carbonation detract, of course, but this is far better than expected. Clean, quite sweet but reasonably bitter.

Bottle from Beers Of Europe. Pours a clear golden colour with a large fluffy white head. Aromas of cereals, hay, grass, bread and lemon. Taste is a bit metallic, with more hay, lemon and a crisp slight grassy hop on the finish. More hoppy than usual for a Helles. Thinnish body, average carbonation and slightly oily mouthfeel. Not a bad beer really, unexciting but quite refreshing.

Appearance: clear gold with a decent white frothy head. Aroma: grains, spicy hop, fruity hints. Taste: light sweet and bitter, malty, clean, hoppy. Hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Summary: pleasant lager.
