Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dry malts, decent fine carbonation. Tangy fruits, lemon sherbet. Tangy dried fruits. Nicely rounded off by the bourbon barrel. Soft bourbon and a trace of vanilla. Tangy fruity spicy finish. Good stuff, nicely joined up.

Bottle thanks to LKS. It pours hazy copper - brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, tangy, orange marmalade, mango, earthy, funk, barnyard and oak. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, lactic, funky, musty, orange marmalade, orange sherbet, bit of acidity, vanilla and earth with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather decent.

Bottle split at L42, from an IP thanks to Explosive Doge, 05/01/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is light funk, wooded notes, spice, toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises wood must, caramel, nutmeg, spice, grains, wooded notes, dried fruits, tangy fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok sour.

Bottle shared shared in London - sourced from an online shop. Vintage 2014. Pours clear, bright orange-gold with a small, creamy white head. A little oxidation in the nose, tangy berries, hints of wood and leather. Light sweet flavour with more tart berries, some chalky lemon candies, some leather, mellow acidity. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Drying finish, with more lemony tartness, some dried leathery berries, moderate acidity. Nice depth. Fun stuff.

Bottle shared at Danish Ratebeer Gathering Ulfborg 2016, Day 1. Very hazy orange with no head. Aroma of citrus, light vinous notes, tart dark fruits oak and light funk. Flavour is light moderate sweet and heavy sour. medium bodied with soft carbonation. Let down by the huge acetone sourness [19-08-2016]

Bottle 500ml. @ pre. Danish (Ulfborg) Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, TNO(U)DRBSG16 @ fonefan & Brugmasia House. [ As Oxbow Arboreal ].Clear medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate yeasty, tart, wood, gooseberry. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, tart, sour, wood, berry, medium dry, gooseberry. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20160819]

Sampled @ Danish Ratebeer Summer Gathering 2016, Friday, Day 1 50cl bottle. Pours hazy orange golden colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of mild tart fruits, zest, vanilla, oak. Taste of tart fruits, strawberries, zest, some oak, good stuff!

Bottled at TNOD(U)RBSG2016. Cloudy pale amber, small head. Vinegary bourbon aroma. Tart with light underlying sweetness and medium body, rounded mouthfeel. Sharp vinegary sourness, oily bourbon vanilla. Some red berries. Low bitterness.

Sampled from bottle @ Danish Ratebeer Gathering Ulfborg 2016, Day 1. A bit hazy orange golden color, small off-white head. Aroma is lightly malts, tart, fruitpeel. Taste is moderately sour, tart, fruitpeel sour-bitter. Don’t get the bourbon. Not my kind of beer.
