Sample at the brewpub during the "Derive Turns Five: 5th Anniversary Celebration" on 09/13/2025. Brown-black pour with a medium tan head that recedes steadily to a film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of roast malt, coffee, vanilla and spice. Full-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roast coffee, pumpkin spice and vanilla. The finish is sweet with a pumpkin spice coffee aftertaste. Good beer overall.
