We love the interplay of malt and hops in darker beers and for this beer, we took a classic stout base and loaded three different hops in Jester, Emperor and Citra to build notes of pine resin, grapefruit and clean citrus fruit. Both the aroma and flavour carry notes of light coffee roast intertwined with punchy hop notes

Tap at Elusive, with James, 6th March 2026. Pours black. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, aromatic hops. Taste is bitter, roasted malts, cocoa, aromatic and floral, citrus, lovely beer, nearing CDA territory
