Can to tulip.
Appearance: red in color with a two finger white foamy head which trailed off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: starts floral and piney then quickly dives into the tequila barrel notes of vanilla and sweet woody tones
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas from a semi-sweet hoppy vibe to a light bittersweet vanilla to oaky quality; finishes like vanilla and pine and floral mixed together
Texture: medium bodied, leaning into being a sipper; some smoothness but also some barrel spice nicking the tongue
Overall: interesting idea to age an IPA in tequila barrels. Maybe I could come back to this.
