Sometimes, one trick is all it takes. And this pony pulls it off.
One Trick Pony is a cold‑fermented Cold IPA that plays it straight: crisp, clean and direct… but with a touch more body than usual, enough to make a lasting impression.
It was born from a three‑way collaboration between Basqueland, Fermentis and Mr. Malt®, which allowed us to experiment with their new yeast SafLager™ SH-45, designed to enhance thiol formation and take the aroma one step further. Pilsner and Carahell malts, together with rice flakes, keep the beer balanced and precise.
On the nose, expect intense, juicy notes of gummy bears, guava, passion fruit and grape. On the palate, it opens fresh, with a slightly more structured texture and a dry, clean finish that makes you want to go for another round.
