Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a dark brown color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. Some lace, somewhat faint and stringy.
The aroma had some roasty coffee qualities, light earthiness, some dark chocolate.
The flavor was moderately roasty with a sly sweet to bitter chocolate nib biting into the aftertaste and following into the finish.
The palate was almost medium bodied, seeming to sit just a tad under. Some sessionability. ABV felt fine.
Overall, pretty good porter worthy of more pours.

Draft at the source, April 2014, from notes. Dark maroon color. Aroma of burnt espresso. Taste is slightly sour coffee.
