Premium British malts and hops combine in our celebration of an iconic ale style. Crystal and chocolate malts produce a vibrant copper hue and a light yet rich, creamy caramel body that’s then paired with a carefully selected blend of floral English hops for a delicate fruity aftertaste.

Cask at Chester Station Tap. Pours “bitter brown” with a small scummy off-white head but excellent lacing. There’s biscuits, caramel and hops in the aroma. In the mouth it is somewhat bitter with flavour of traditional hops and red fruit. Some tropical fruits become evident later alongside traces of spice and ginger which remain in the finish. This is reasonable – if a little boring.

[#8.866 Global - #1.174 England - #1 Spitting Feathers (My English brewery #362)]
Pours amber with a small white head. Aroma: biscuity malts, caramel and light toffee. Taste: biscuity and creamy. Really nice cask action.
Next one, please!
