Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a drafty brown color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white head. No lace.
The aroma had some cocoa powder playing with citrusy and grassy hops. Sly earthiness and some bread.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a grasping bitterness punching the aftertaste in the same manner. Finish was dry and bitter.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, definitely a brown IPA as it had a good hoppy content playing with brown ale like qualities.

Draft at the source, April 2014, from notes. Hazy brown color, tan head. Aroma of nutella and brownies. Taste is cocoa powder. Interesting idea.
